After getting some more educated guesses on another forum as well, I decided to redo the roof. All paint is off an tomorrow RAL 7031, a dark gray-blue will be applied.
That roof is something! Build it twice, painted it twice...

Good plan, sometimes things take a few attempts to get right. One of my 0 Gauge Scratch Built Manning Wardles turned out to be a real pain, did the side Tanks about 4 times and still never got it right. Still in a box some 30 years later waiting to be completed!

Have been looking at some pictures from my 2007 visit to Swiss Railways. Lo and behold a roof profile of a Steam Tram in Zurich Museum for you Henri. Different type of Loco clearly but at least you can get a close look at the Texture.

Brickets, not so often used in UK, but varying railways have messed with them over the years. Perfect though for loading and storing in the restricted cab of a steam tram.

Looks exactly like the Steam Tram that I saw at Utrecht Museum back in 1970.

Some better pictures by daylight. Although the weather lighting fluctuated and ended in rain, which shows in the colors of the pictures.

2,5 years of work, massive learning curve and tons of advice here and on other forums/FB. I feel lucky to see so many people are willing to help! Thanks all!!

Next project is to build matching teak wood coaches.
