And then the experiment ended as I couldn’t get 1mm holes drilled. The drill wasn’t sharp enough.

Looks good to me Henri, but perhaps you are too much of a perfectionist. Once painted up in its proper livery with some subtle weathering, trundling roundvthe Garden any imperfections that you see here will be unseen.

Thanks, yes I'm a perfectionist. And I have a bad habit that whenever I've spotted an 'imperfection' and didn't act to it, I will see it each time...
For example, the strip underneath the tiny footstep has a 'crack'. I'll try to fix that with filler. Also the two top corners around the access panels in both the front and rear. I just have to fix those cracks. Stuff like that...

Hm sometimes cleaning up the few blobs can be worse than what was before. I am finding that with the Railcar, every time I fill and Sand I still find blemishes. Hope you do not suffer the same Henri.

That thought occurred to me as I read Henri's post. I can remember occasions when tidyng up the tidying up, as it were, led to the abandoning of the whole project!
