Thanks! Yes it is almost finished. Need to make a few lanterns. And add the hoses and chains. Then it’s ready for paint.

They look beautifully made. Eton Wick is about 8 miles away from me. Probably "plates" rather than "shields" but there may be a better word.

Nother small update. I made the little lights myself. The base is an 8mm tube so you can figure out the size of the other parts. I got a second hand Proxxon TBM 220 drill that was very welcome to make these lamps.
Furthermore added more details. I need a source for some scale correct hooks.

NA4 Hooks & Eyes for safety chains plus coupling hooks

Two mouldings per pack = 8 Hooks & eyes, 4 larger hooks & 2 hooks for 3-link couplings. Used on prototype coaches and some wagons that had couplings thought not to be 100% reliable! There were usually two at each end of the vehicle.

As for the Lamps Top, paper clips work well for the Handles.

I’m practicing making them myself. Take a piece of wire, bend in shape and hammer it flat. Yesterday I got a good overall shape, but they were too large. Today I’m trying with thinner wire. If that doesn’t work I’ll order a couple of the sets you posted!
