Just fitted one of these to my Aristocraft Mikado. Wasn't too difficult to do and the result is very impressive. The exhaust beat is greatly enhanced and the loco sounds great especially when pulling hard - can easily be heard well over seventy-five yards away. Another good plus is that the engine no longer gets lots of messy oil and water over it as it did with the original fitting and ends up very clean after a steam-up.
