British narrow gauge (esp. Southwold and W&LLR)

OK. On a trip to the smoke (missus' birthday) and took a quick trip to Princes Risborough (as one does) and couldn't resist the attached. It was sold as a Berkley - I assume they mean a Barclay.
I've done a bit of searching and haven't yet tracked down anything which is a close match for it. Looks like a plastic scratchbuild on an LGB power bogie. It needs a little bit of tidying but it's nicely engineered with a switch which looks as if it can be used as track powered or, via a socket on the rear, battery powered.
Any ideas of its origin or the prototype on which it could be based?
