Contractor's Thrashing set

unworthy, unworthy ,unworthy :o i am in aww..

It looks superb ! Good work 8)

Thanks for all your comments. I have being doing a little bit more and thought I was doing alright but the camera never lies!

I made the grain chutes from the lid of a margarine tub and a bit of tubing (for the bottom of the chutes), then bent some 0.5mm pins to form the sack hooks at either side of the chutes but they don`t show up well.

I made some wheel scotches and a bit of packing, then made a batten door. Old doors were used for both leveling the back wheels and for the sacks to stand on at the chute end. These bits need further painting.

I also made the name plate and some hinges - cat food tray - then stuck them on. Def a deficiancy in the old eyesight department!

And a picture of the "deck" with baler belt coiled up. The drop-down deck flooring no longer does what it says on the can. During the other work (above) when I had the baler stood on end, it decided to fall over. Gluing the hinges back in position really worked - they are glued in the (transport) position below. Doh!

More later when despondancy evaporates. Going to glare at the telly as it`s a miserable day here.

The thrasher is more or less finished and everything will be folded up as for transport mode. I`ll then make and fit a tarpaulin.

After that I`ll attempt to replicate a baler - but don`t hold your breath (domestic chores will intervene) :(
