Possibly the best value item at 20 quid a piece, that LGB make. Manual signals, just for a bit of simple, scenic interest at the front garden.

The grass continues to go wild while at work..... and the bald patch caused by me is starting a recovery too.

Yes, the house front facing East, so I guess it faces north from the side

A little after work project before bed. Nice and simple, but lots of interest. I left the chimney off to avoid delicate parts as it's out front, and more resilient to damage.

A staged picture, because it's just starting to rain. Looks even better with the grass cut. I'm thinking maybe a couple more small buildings along the back, less grass to cut with clippers then....

Do the neighbours ever say anything about the noise your track cleaner makes ? One of the reasons I sold mine and went manual, I hated the sound. That and it just didn't work on my mostly foliage overhung line, railhead just not dry enough. A pair of Garryflex's at the end of a broom handle on a U/J did me till the move to battery power. Max

Erm, no. But I've got to admit, I am a bit self conscious about it and the noise. But then sometimes I just think, well I have to listen to dogs barking and kids being little sh%ts. I only tend to do the main circuit and rest of it by hand. I do try to do it when nextdoor has gone out.

We did however get the track done, but looks like rain again, very humid too. Found a bit of old Schleich fence to add interest to the front. The rest of the garden is hard to keep up with, a few plants getting ready for a trim.
