Some people were skeptical. I was skeptical. But after 2 weeks, the track has turned up. So, finishing work a bit earlier, I have put the track in. It's to be ballasted and packed properly another day, but I couldn't resist. And, it works a dream.

Back from Santorini, so attention turns to placement of my new building. I'm thinking roughly here. So I'm going to get some cement later to make a level base.

Lived in Wash DC in the late '40s. I remember it snowed one year.

Not a very inspiring day for photos. It's positively miserable up here in Yorkshire. Still, decided to get the Porter out, an all time favourite.

With a dull day, you get better colour saturation with your photos, so dull isn't all bad.
