Suggestion for alternative track layout

This is my current track layout.

I wonder if anyone can suggest any alternate layout using same parts and preferably same space (i.e. layout can`t be much longer or wider due to space constraints).

The Anyrail layout file link is given below (it is very small layout so works with free version of Anyrail).

Hi Mobi, One of the options for a small layout like this is a "figure of 8". You get more track in the same space and the trains go in different directions adding more interest. You seem to have enough track for the 2 loops. All you'll need extra is a diamond crossing.

You could maybe have room for a siding/terminus with the figure of 8 layout. If you can give us dimensions of the space, that would help in making suggestions.

On the Champex Linden site you can download Explore the World of LGB which has in lots of track layouts. It tells you the parts you need and the space the layout takes up.

Here's a link to the download:

https://www.champex-linden.de/download_fremddokumente/lgb_00559_explore_the_world_of_lgb.pdf

When the documents loaded to your screen, in the top right of the screen, click on the icon of a sheet of paper with a corner turned down and an arrow on it pointing downwards. This then downloads the document to your computer for you to save and/or printout.

I'll also do some scans of some layouts I've designed which allow you end-to-end and circular running.

Is the is a valid layout? I had drawn it using Scarm. There seems to be a slight mis-alignment in the drawing but in real life will be feasible for running trains?

Can't see any problem there! Even set-track in G scale is still quite flexible. Slight gap on one side - no problem just pull it together!

I would also say go for a figure of eight as a bridge crossing another track is an attractive feature. Also get another point and track to make a passing loop long enough to have another train parked.

;) Assuming the K30 is a straight swap out for an R1/30 turnout, then it will work. You are using the equivilent of 6 R1/30's to get a semi circle. You don't need software/computor for that calculation.
