Stainz Locos- How many is too many

Hi All Quick Discussion. How many Stainz Locos is too many.
Had a Quick count up and I now own 18 of them, All different, either limited or collectors editions or varients of standard production.

How many does anyone else own?

well im sure paul stainz holt has you bested-

i have a modest gaggle
4 green #1, 2 (and another #2) , and 3
one K-3, black
1 brown, #2

and i consider the 2015s the super version
2 green-us and euro, one black, one maroon, one yellow

you know when it comes to the stainz, i think there is no better all purpose loco, pulls, reliable, robust, one handed re-railing-and not too dear at all-probably the single loco that can make a g scale start-up a great experience-simply delightful-hook up some lighted coaches and thats a train-and somewhat story-book like in appearance, yet absolutely authentic

i covet a dark brown cab with a red rear light-so long as its not a grinder-2040 #4 cab i think

2 Blue train one silver boiler,one gold boiler.

2 circus one white boiler,one black

3 green no2 one sound version,two older versions both with different chassis dates

1 grey no2 from beer train

Can you explain 'too many'

I think it means "not enough space".

Oh come on, I've heard of upmanship, but stainzmanship, I dunno. I also wish to appeal to those of you who have obviously got far more than you need, have you thought of the poor little kids in Lower Mumbai who haven't got any? Hey buddy, can you spare a Stainz?
At the last estimate I had 2,345 of the little beggars, no wait, I tell a lie, I have four, plus an Otto.

so-i had one of these "no lensers" in brown-no lens, and painted white inside of lamp-was this stock-ie was yours?

Mine really don't look anything like a Stainz anymore... so are they still Stainz?????

#6 is mostly a 2017D with an Aristo cab and cut down tender shell
The Mallet #8 was a 2017 and a 2020 plus a lot of Delton c-16 parts
