Henri,

It looks good and as has been said, you are doing really well. My daughter would like to have the rabbbits, but not the trains!

Noticing that you are using a really early LGB point with the mechanism moulded on the side - I would like to ask how the more modern stock behaves when it runs through them? I had a pair and carefully removed the casing to allow fitting of modern point actuators, but the locos and stock did not like them at all!

Haha the rabbits stay :D although they do like the plants too much to my liking....

Regarding the points, I'm thinking over a couple of questions to ask regarding their electrical conductivity.

But for running 'more modern stock'... The railbus is by far the most modern LGB item I have and it runs flawlessly, but that is also due to the current pickup on each wheel (8 wheels so to say, over a lengt of 80 cm?).

The Stainz howler hasn't run yet, needs new grease, Firey Elias runs just great and the orange shunter 'D10' runs just horrible on anything. That 'D10' needs a really big overhaul I guess. Oh I almost forgot the Deutz feldbahn: runs like a charm.

But I DO have problems with electricity on the 'tongues' of the points. Did already take some apart to fix, but conductivity is 'poor'... Have no idea how these compare to modern R1 points as I only have old sh$t...

Morning sun over Rabbit Hill Tramways. Left behind wagons remind of an evening of fun... Maybe again tonight?

Feldbahn wagons are awaiting the new saw mill that still has to be build...

The flat cars are ready to haul timber when the saw mill is in operation... So the engine shed can be build.

Running trains is finally there for me! Ironed out the small problems I had on several areas, but now it's time to enjoy! What fun it is to see the railbus coming round the corner, or the Stainz pulling it's cargo wagons... Oh yes, and the plans you make in your head for improvements....

I love it!

I've said it before, Henri, but the speed and enthusiasm with which you've built your line is amazing - long may you enjoy it! :D

They don't need training... Natural habit...

Regarding running trains & rabbits: that keeps them out of the tracks! Although they get to used to them as a couple of weeks ago they were in blind panic and now they lift an ear an continue doing their business...

How do you cope with the scale size elephant droppings causing wheel slipping and derailments? I can just hear the station announcer..... the 10.15 service has been delayed due to the wrong kind of poo on the line.....
