Yes, that small yard setup should give plenty of scope for shunting operations - maybe put a small engine shed at the end of one siding, with the other siding next to it having the loco servicing facilities (coaling stage, water crane, diesel fuel tank etc)... you bring the loco out of its shed, back it into the other siding for fuelling/watering, then off it goes to pick up its train!

It's looking better all the time.... :)

You could fit another siding in there to add to the fun and flexibility. (Actually, maybe another two.)

Your track plan offers plenty of possibilities in a small space. I like it.

It must be the language, because I don't get it...

Ours, although being male & female, are 'helped' and can't produce offspring. And the female 'Pebbles' is certainly the 'boss' of them two and poor Barney doesn't get any...

;)

Hi Henri.......just a play on words.........'rabbits'was the term used for goodies etc.bought ashore in ?exotic ? places ...never ever discovered where or why the term originated, my story is it was a contraction of 'rare bits and pieces picked up ashore'....so many Naval terms like why do we call red heads "Blue" ?????????? and many more..Regards Mal R.

Just found this picture of the tramway that was active till end of the '50-s previous century.
It is the end of line in the village next to ours. This style I want on my 'Tramway'.

I'm wondering what the tower is supposed to do? Water tower? Without 'hose'? The legs seem way to thin to carry any weight like water or coal?

The railcar looks like a French design, with the engine at the far end of the unit....
