How's it turned out - Plants in garden & disappointed rabbits or plants in rabbits & disappointed Henri?

Then he came back to the basket and took out his son Benjamin by the ears, and whipped him with the little switch.

Henri you'll be pleased to hear that the Head Gardener has spotted a wild type rabbit kitten grazing one of the lawns in the garden. Could be that Mistress McGregor will be reaching for more than a little switch .
