RhB Transfers for FAU wagons

I recently purchased a pair of these side tipping ballast wagons, and I would like to renumber them.

In addition, my other 3 FAU wagons came without the RhB markings and numbers.

So does anyone know a source for these please? Or do I go to someone like Endon Valley for them....

I've ordered the above transfers for my wagons. Only £13 with postage.

For the digits though, I've gone to Endon Valley for custom made transfers with a series of 4 subsequent fleet numbers, so my fleet of 5 FAU wagons will all be different....

The first set of transfers have arrived from Endon Valley.

The number spacing isn't quite right, but close enough.

I await the RhB transfers which are inbound from Germany....

My German language skills aren't especially good Peter, but I knew enough from their reply that they can do the numbers if you give them the exact dimensions.

Useful for our continental cousins to know....

My transfers arrived from Germany in the post, although on the day we were at the Essex G Scale meeting, so I ran my Fau wagons without RhB logos.

The next day I was able to apply the transfers. Although I speak some basic German, the written instructions were beyond my limited knowledge of the language. However, it looked like these were stickers on a clear plastic 'carrier' rather than the water slide transfers I used for the numbers.

I stuck them down, but a clear plastic film was on the lettering. I thought it didn't look very good, but by accident, some of the top film came adrift. At this EUREKA moment, I realised that the top film should be removed to leave the logo stuck in place!

So, I'm very happy with my newly branded wagons. I must thank Peter for his suggestion. I don't think he himself has used them.

One of my consist of 5 Fau wagons is this one with with 'Automatic' writing on it.

I decided to keep as it but add RhB logos and numbers as per the rest of my fleet....

You're right, I haven't used them. But while searching for lettering for H0 trams, I came across these inscriptions for the RhB and remembered them. Why shouldn't I help out?

Greetings from Wuppertal

Peter

With the smartie phone and Google Translate you can take a pic of the foreign instructions and translate to English. Ok the German will be a bit back to front as it is how the language is partially spoken but it works very well, I use the feature for converting text in German Railway books that I am keen to know what it is all about. But not yet done a complete book! Captions tend to be the most converted and the feature a,kows one to highlight the text to be translated.
