Reactions?

Just to bring this saga up to date. I did eventually sort out my missing passwords and have changed over fully to FF. To me I.E. is no more (though it is still on the P.C. as aparently it is part of the O.S. or linked into it).

Now has anyone noticed that since the forum update the other day we now have two Reaction buttons?:giggle::giggle::giggle:

Yup! At first I couldn't get them to work on my cell, but now they seem to work fine!

I think the thumbs-up icon is so that people can just hit it without thinking about it, and give a simple "like".... the other icon (the smiley) opens the full menu of reactions for those who want to give a more appropriate comment..... I suppose it is a sad commentary on the fact that a lot of people don't want to have to think for more than about 0.65 seconds about anything they read online.....

Jon.

Most of us don't actually 'think' , do we?

I wonder when the wives will start referring to the men they are stuck with, as "The husband"... rather degrading as a way of indicating the person that is "Stuck" with you...the persons have names; it would be much more civilized, and caring to start using them, I would think. But then, as has been pointed out; Thinking, and common sense, have died out in this modern World...wonderful, isn't it.
Fred Mills...diving for cover, as the bricks and stones will be thrown any time now, I'm sure...

Though I don't disagree with the sentiment, unless the forum knows the name of "the wife", then if I was to say "Funny Jane says that a lot" then you wouldn't know if I was referring to the wife, a daughter, the M-i-L, "a bit on the side" or even anecdotally the cat!
