The track is mainly LGB flexitrack, some aristo, and recycled/secondhand.

Here`s the Y in place

Fitted with 6 GRS rail clamps. Easy to use, and as they suggested, will facilitate later removal to treat the wooden sleepers

Lots of work going on there. Are you going to keep some access points, errr, "accessible"? ;)
 
Excellent idea. Despite the laws of probability saying that the train will derail on the longer, uncovered side of the line, but you know the rest ....
