and the handrails are on.
If you intend to make one of these, pre-drill the rail holes before assembly - it will be much easier!

There are a couple of corners to touch in with the red/brown and then a matt clear coat and we are done. Have to say, I am very happy with the results.

So having read this excellent review and also modelling the HSB I plucked up the courage and bought one. It took me a month to do from opening the box to painting the Pola bikes in it (little things like work and sleeping get in the way, but that's life) I'm extremely happy with the results and used this review to help me build mine as my German is pretty carp (understatement). Here's a few thing I did slightly different to Alans review. Drill and fit the handrails before construction, bought and filled the 56 locating holes with 1mm round plastacard to hide them, made and fitted communication coed box's out of excess spare plasticard from the kit and fitted a top board to the tops of the woodern planked sides to hide the joins better .
