black stainz

Garden Railways, Model making
hi
I have not been on the forum for a while looking after my wife after her hip op .but I have still been busy .Tony gave me a very sad looking stainz to rebuild for him quiet a few broken bits so had to use a bit of imagination ,so it is more of a English looking loco .as you already know I have done this in the past so I thought I would embellish this one a bit more I cocked up once or twice on this one but it came alright in the end .

I really do like those extended tanks. I will have a go at that when I can get to my locos.

just got back from work, thanks for your comments Craig I started off with 2 mint stainz but curiosity got the better of me (what if ) I did this or that ? and the rest is history .I still keep 1 stainz in good order but I just can not leave the rest alone .I never seem to be in the right place when one comes up for sale .
yes Steve I see were you are coming from I once saw a short video of a forest railway ,even though it was run down and kept falling of the track it was still running up until recently perhaps that is were I have got the idea from in the recesses of my mind I come up with some strange ideas I put it down to my age .

Graham, as we have come to expect that is a super model. Well done.

It has me thinking how I might bash my little used green and red one.
