As the works has just recieved a delivery of wheel sets, further progress is possible

Both the battery control wagons can be pulled as ordinary wagons by the Garratt which has its own on board batteries

so watch this space

Right after doing all the sided vehicles,

I wanted a change

so I revisited tankerland

Take a 16 inch length of unused sewer pipe

now why is that sort of pipe so hard to cut square, even on a mitre saw table

I suppose plumbers have a special pipe cutter?

Make a saddle from 6mm MDF with 25 x 6 mm sides pinned & glued on.

when dry, sand chamfer on side pieces & middle of base

using a spare bit of pipe with sand paper glued on

Find a drinks coaster that is an exellent clip fit on pipe

( mine were bought from that historic firm of Woolworths several years ago, which was why I was allowed to use them)
