What happened at your workbench today?

Trying to figure out how long it really takes to charge up a set of new batteries in my NGG16.

When I turn on the power to the charger, the red RX output lights comes on, and ten hours later, has NOT yet gone off.

Something is not well in the state of Denmark, methinks.

It depends....
On the charger, type capacity, and type of batteries, their state of charge 'as supplied'.

This does not surprise me..
When it does finish, let them 'rest' overnight, then charge them again.

I think someone thinks it is lunchtime?

There is a partially constructed wiring loom, under that tummy.

Better than in that tummy.

A large tabby I had used to like chasing string. One day I noticed during the game that the piece of string between my hand and his mouth was only about eight inches long, getting him clenched between my knees and holding his mouth open with two fingers, I pulled about two feet of string out of him.

I have had very long charging times, both for initial charges and occasionally when topping them up after a winter's storage. Overnight plus a few hours. All has been well after that...

Is that using a Smart Charger (as supplied by Fosworks) as I thought they switched off after fully charging.

Sometimes with a Smart Charger, supplied by Strikalite, but also an ordinary (ie not smart) charger that I used on my IOM locos.
