It's a misty day and the drizzle has stopped, temperature just under 20 degrees C and humidity 90+%. An opportunity to photograph some live steam, if the light is OK.

Silver Lady is the pride of the fleet, and was duly prepared. The RC transmitter is 2 joysticks, so a rubber band was used to hold one stick in ''forward'' whilst I juggled with the camera and the throttle joystick. At least in this digital age you don't have to stop to change films!

nice pic's geoff, the steam even with 90% humidity is ok. and it's nice to see how your line is progressing.

Very nice. Looks like there are some interesting routing possibilities on your line.

What a beautiful scene. Do you wake up to it each day? I like your railway also. Nicely fitted into your patio.

I am in the process of planning a slight remodelling to eradicate all R1 curves for R3 minimum, and possibly introducing a diversion with a passing loop for a new station. I have acquired ''AnyRail'' for the new additions, but the garden is a very unusual shape so an accurate survey is needed, to include all plants and shrubs which I don't want to move. This is proving more difficult than expected, but is happening. I would upload the current track plan but there seems to be a problem.

Other plans are to replace the temporary buildings with something better. The current buildings are actually replacements for earlier ''temporary'' buildings, which were introduced to house decoders. The decoders have operated well, but the buildings tend to rot pretty fast in the Hong Kong atmosphere (hot, humid summers with occasional flooding due to torrential rain).

The overall intention is to fit the line to the garden. So far I have managed to resist the temptation to add lots of sidings, with multiple trains operating. The pix are all of Silver Lady but I generally operate LGB trains.

It is the view from the garden - when you say do I wake up to it each day, the answer is yes! The attached is taken from the bedroom.

King Kong in Hong Kong?

Great looking railway Geoff and what a place for it!

I have finally finished the survey of the garden and layout. The attached is a file produced using Anyrail. This is something of an experiment, I suspect some of the lines may be faint.
