Normal service on this channel has resumed, starting with Rails in the Garden's 2025 steam-up at the Tennyson Railway.
Enjoy the thrills of Gauge 1 standard gauge, 16 mm narrow gauge (on 45 mm track, of course) and even 7/8ths makes an appearance.– – – –Rails in the Garden are a group based in NSW, Australia that meet regularly to run our live steam and battery-electric trains on 32mm and 45mm gauge tracks at events held in member's gardens and at regular indoor exhibition events. We cater to all the common garden scales including Gauge 1, 16 mm, G-scale and 7/8ths scale.
We produce our own quarterly Australian magazine devoted to the garden railway hobby and subscription enquires are welcomed by e-mail: magazine@ritg.org.au.Our premier annual event is the Southern Highlands Steam-Up (SHSU) and we are eagerly looking forward to the next edition in May 2026; details of pre-registration are available at shsteamup.com or by e-mail: registrar@shsteamup.com
