The EG&SNNRly

Ah, but they all HAVE to be moving!!..

None of this cheating, posing stationary, nonsense! ;):giggle::giggle::giggle:

Stockers said exactly the same when we chatted about it a few minutes ago......:D:D

What ashes? A secondary running establishment, built to a quality commensurate with the rolling stock being used, takes more than a day or two - I tell you.

T'was not a slur.. Just I spotted some woodwork in the back of one of the pictures.. Was not sure if it was da new shed, or next door?

T'wil be a nice new running shed at t'other end of the garden.

Has the new shed risen from the ashes yet, Keith?

Phil,

The new shed is rising and rising fast. Being custom built to my specific requirements (odd shape, floor wall and ceiling insulation, electrical wiring and heavy duty decking for the trains plus space for the lawn mower and scarifier etc.) it takes a lot longer than any old run-of-the-mill shed.

..... don't forget we also have to run the odd train from time-to-time, got to check the run-in measurements to the shed regularly :nod:

Guilty! But like LGB - it looks just right! :D

I popped over to see Keith this afternoon for a chin wag and to run some trains. We put the world to rights then watched the entertainment.

Great pics Alan, good to see you over here this afternoon. Many thanks for dropping by.

Not had time (Wednesday night is phone brother time!!) to sort out my pics but hope to get some up tomorrow.

Got round to uploading the pics I took today, not the quality I would like, but it was my mini-camera. First up was this tiddler from Saxony:

oops, another tiddler.....but its different:

Representing Switzerland the following was sighted:

later seen approaching the summit of Big Mountain:

It was then the turn of a naturally heavily weathered Sachsen Meyer to make an appearance:

....and later seen heading into the distance:

...which means its bedtime, just before midnight, pleasant dreams

Love the Sachsen I K tiddler loco and trains Keith.

Many thanks Paul, at first the little tiddler did not impress but now it's growing on me now especially as it has its own dedicated set of 2-axle coaches.

Maybe what put me off at first was the DRG version:

The latest model in K.Sachs.Sts.E.B livery is much more appealing (in my opinion) than the dull and drab DRG livery.

For a guy that was brought up with the DR this version works for me, much more utilitarian which is more my like.

I could easily find a way to up with a DRG version too. :D
