Sunday Evening Pictures

Beer is good for the palette but not those ones under the old trackbed!!

Now that the cream of the crop are safely in the pub or tucking into last weeks leftover pizza's, I can now get back to planning the rebuild of the nasty corner,

as my landlord has fenced the feild corner off it has given my a bit more to work with, so the new framework was laid out today till the rain came back,

I have also looked at double tracking the main line this winter, most of what is laid can be changed easily, and some
of the curves eased a bit

I got the messy corner strimmed down and the size of the area is huge, so I am planning a bit more storage area and maybe a doulbe deck area for the branch line yard,

Lovely rainy day sop a few little jobsdone,
I got a small tender for one of my ongoing projects from Mr Funandtrains, so I decided to put some decent wheels in the thing, the original Aristo are useless as they snap and go out of gauge,

I used a set of sanval wheels that where in a boxcar , the boxcar did not need the weight as much as the tender.

I cut the wiring away from the axle boxes so I can put new pickups on later , I also cut back the brake blocks which always derail these aristo models, to get the roller working again for the sound unit I just wrapped tape around the axle, it took longer to write it and post it than to do it,
I also tidied my bench up can you tell?

When I do that, tidy my bench that is, it lasts about as long as a sneeze.

im glad to know you tidied-that is so much more orderly than my own.../

I take it Pete you have cleared your work bench and put it all on this bench

MR SPOCK said:
I found all that stuff on the bench after I cleared it!!!

Has the tin of Quality Street been there since last Christmas
