I live only half a dozen miles from Pete and anyone coming down to this neck of the woods is very welcome to visit and see my layout. It's not as impressive as Pete's but it does have sound!

I am very envious about the sound, quote=GrahamMills]

Today is my bonus , I got done what I planned to do saturday,
as my trains have got longer I needed extra passing loops, so today i started instaling the baseboard structure, strong enough to sit on,

As per usual cornwall has had rain most this week end, only now has it dried up , I did run trains till the water level reached the top of the rails and the trip switches said enough,

I did find other things to do though,

strange it is how the wind and rain ease off at packing up time,
so windy today no boxcar would stay upright, struggled running anything, but I got the old four wheeler out for a whizz,
it kept derailing and I could not see why , after a bit of studying, I noticed that the brake shoes were catching the track joints, and jumping it off, easy fix with the end cutters

Like that trackwork!

A three way point, and is that a double slip further along the trackbed?

Nice....

Very good film, careful it dont rub off, the wind has left its mark here today, suppose I get the first weather change off the Atlantic, plus a bit poingnant, being ten years since I was in New York,

Thanks Gizzy, the three way is a secondhand Marcway and the crossing is a plain crossing, but I have a double slip in the Box Yard ,
