Hi Pete , you are exactly a year too late as I was staying near to Cadgwith this week last year. Would have enjoyed a nosey !

unusualy for Cornwall today was fine and dry, a tadd windy so no long trains, but caught up on some little jobs,
the hard worked 44 tonner had a boxcar from hell (sante fe) behind it it found all the high spots on my bridges and tunnel, was ok on the branch line,

I have decided to call the last hill up to the bridge Conk Out as it is where boxcars and cabbooses seem to end up left behind, it is the furthest point from the batteries,
the doodlebug ran very well for a change, it even lasted as a sweep up loco and dragged all the stock back, the more it runs the better it seems to perform, at one point had bats escorting it around the loop!!

Goodly there Pete. I hate it when the evenings draw in. Those balmy light 9 to 10 pm sessions are now off till next year!

Do like those night shots Pete with the full moon in the back ground:thumbup:

Just for a change I went to a model railway exhibition in Truro,
this caught me eye and my ears ,the loco engines sounded pretty good to me,

I enjoyed the sun as well, at home, found out why the F3 was losing power. a blade of grass had wound itself around the axle and just about stopped the wheels from turning,

Pete I've seen that 4mm layout (EM gauge I think) before at a show - it is very effective, well observed. It's based on the UK 'St Blazey' depot I believe.

I liked it as it is deisels, and sound fitted, I tend not to look at silent railways as much as I did, it is St Blazey and had a few interesting little things on it including the quarter round house and the repair works, it is also very well 'weathered'
