So, I wanted to make absolutely sure before posting this, and today's mild weather has given me the chance to check one more time
Both these models seem to have a new generation decoder/ sound module with many more options than what I've previously encountered, 25 or so.
However, on both models, "Squealing brake off" is a function assigned to button no.2. I get no squealing brakes, on either model, whether or not the button is activated (on my Massoth Dimax controller).
Because it is happening on both brand new models with a new type of decoder, I doubt that both have a "fault" but rather I may be missing something important that makes this sound work properly. Everything else on both seem to be normal. Sometimes the sounds get a bit confused or out of synch, but this is rectified, like so many things by switching the Dimax off and on. But squealing brakes there are none.
Anybody got any ideas (esepcially people with one of these models)?
