Playmobil Rules

Too much of a good thing is nearly enough.

Grandchildren need something to play with rather than the expensive LGBs, so a Playmobil was called for. The little engine now has it's own siding and Depot installed as well. It seems to be a popular addition to the fleet, along with suitable works stock.

They certainly are playmofire. I have four grandchildren and all love the Railway and despite being young they were very good with the controllers, but I felt they deserved something they could get hands-on with too.

It has gone down very well indeed and having their 'own' depot for the loco was exceptionally well received.
The Locomotive is battery powered radio control, and has lights and sound too, only time will tell how child-proof it is

Lovely.
I like the train.
With multiples, and the uniform yellow, it looks very railroady.

Kids are so bright and capable.

I too like Playmobil. Remember several years of great play with my young son; pirates, western, knights, trains, civilian kids, divers, boats. A great toy for fantasy , creativity, and story telling. Like trains, each theme creates its own small fantasy world. Enough details to make it come alive.

That rc deisel looks great. My son had / has the old steam tank loco, and his designated lgb stock.

Initially, it seemed pricey, but in the long run, it is great because kids, and adults, stay interested, and, a new piece renews the entire collection.

Still have a small closet full.

I did order some open wagons at £9 each plus some other items direct off their website last year however much of their railway items have been discontinued now, an observation coach is the only item of rolling stock left, some price increases too!!
