Hi everyone,
My dad and I are fairly new to G scale, having only started our journey in April last year with a basic bundle of track and rolling stock. Since then, it’s been a whirlwind! We managed to get our first full circuit laid by this past April and even hosted our very first open day in June. We owe a massive thank you to our local G scale group—your help and advice along the way have been invaluable.
During the excitement of building the layout, we went out fast and accumulated a lot of track, accessories, and rolling stock. Now that the dust has settled, we’ve decided to narrow our focus. Moving forward, our layout will be dedicated to two distinct themes: rugged US/North American railroads and the beautiful locomotives and stock of Germany and Switzerland.
Because of this new direction, we will soon be selling off some of our surplus pre-purchased stock. This will include several locomotives, various wagons, and some leftover track sections. If you're looking to expand your own fleet or layout, keep an eye out—or feel free to reach out directly if you're looking for something specific!

More photos added in the photo section.

You can offer items direct via the forum but you need to have been a member for a short time. Please read the notes concerning sales within the forum if you wish to go via this route.

Welcome to the Forum Northlander!

I believe we already know one another ;) ....

Greetings from the tiny land that time forgot in central Europe. Have fun here and ask any questions you may have, the knowledge base here is astounding. Above all don't take any notice of anyone saying we have a dodgy senseof humour.
Good luck with selling off your extras, there will be plenty of takers I expect.

Many thanks for the welcome

Happy to confirm that both Northlander and Northlander Senior are very keen and active members of our local (formerly Essex, now called "South Anglia") GSS group - so I'm sure anything they offer on the For Sale threads will be quite genuine - and anyway, we know where they live*...

A warm welcome to the "wretched hive of scum and villainy" that is GSC, chaps - see you at Salcott on Saturday?   Feel free to post some pics, everyone on here loves pics!
For the record, I'm not at all envious that they've managed to build more of a layout in six months than I've done in twenty years...

Jon.

* Having been to their aforementioned Open Day...!

Welcome to the Forum: I hope no one confuses one of us for the other :giggle:. But it sounds like you are already known by some on here, so we should be OK. It looks like you've got a lot done in a year or so!

Well I'm confused most of the time anyway

Welcome @Northlander I'm surprised no ones mentioned our interest in photography ;) So no piccies, then it didn't happen, so lots please!
