Hi all,
here are some pix of my first tests for a "easy-to make" numbering and naming of my locos and rolling stock.
CCRR stands for Cat Canyon RailRoad, the 411 is a code, means that the loco has 4 coupled axles (4xx) has one running axle in front (x1x) and is the second of possible ten locos like that (the 1st on is the 410).
The lettering is laser-printed on uv-resistant, weatherproof, selfadhesive foil.
I choose a layout that shall look like an aluminium-cast-sign, black painted and then grinded. the silver shining of the aluminum was impossible to make on the paper, but it should be good enough...for me...
Greetings
Frank
