Mts 3 & Navigator Glitch

I'm using my new navigator with an MTS 3 central station. However, periodically the right-hand green "data" led is remaining lit and the navigator becomes unresponsive. Hitting reset makes no difference, the left-hand led turns from green to red and then just stays on. Only a hard reboot (switching off the power supply) allows it to reset. However, the problem then often reoccurs after a short period.

Unplugging the navigator and using the LGB universal remote sometimes also seems to become unresponsive.

My feeling is it is an issue with the central station. Any suggestions?

It would appear to be something which is 'common' to both control devices..

First-step:
Check all connections from transformers to CS etc.
Then swap-out the cable between the CS and controller. - Could easily be an 'iffy' connection at one end..

If that fails to cure it, it points to the CS I am afraid.
