i see...kool.im postin a threads lookin for any types of boxcars later.i ave found my mini toggles switches in my tool box last nite while i clean up in the shed..lol..phew.but will get some from maplin.....
so im still on the lookout for gerantor on ebay,,,,if nope,i will kitbashin it...finger x

Have done alot of work on the wooden cladding today next job to build some sliding doors and finish off the windows

Hi Don
The window frames and top surrounds are made from strips of wood that i get from Back2bay6 about 3ft in length .

Just to keep you up to date with the build window frames ,sliding doors , hand rails and strap irons have all been made and fitted pics to follow .
Also got a diesel sound unit from Mr Rails that will sit inside so i have some sound of the generator .

I do remember your CAT generator at your open day Mike was the same size & weight as a house brick i thick you would need a USA Trains depressed centre flat car for that .

Got some more work done today have finihed the sliding doors added some door stops from a Bachmann 1:20.3 box car (Had spares with the box car ) added some steps below the doors fitted brake wheel & rod and chains to under body brake gear made some angle brackets for end of body supports out of thin plastic card nuts and bolt detail were made using the ends of the plastic hand rails that come with USA Trains Reefers have also made a start on the wooden roof . Will start on the roof walk ways next .
