Had a bit of time at the week end to finish off the roof with a new wooden walk way to replace the plastic ones . Added a exhust pipe made from a drinking straw to the generator and have fitted a bulb inside a Bachmann lamp with the wires going through a drum that the lamp sits on have also spray painted the interior green and the out side with red oxide . Next job is to paint the roof and glaze the windows and apply the decals .

Have now added the decals and fitted the electrics for the lights will get some more pic's at the week end .

Richie that looks awsome. I always wondered why Bachmann did not produce the camp cars in G. Either way yours looks much better and no one lese will ever have one like yours even if bachmann does produce them. Yours will be unique and I think better.
Fora little more detail you can put some small metal or wood patches on the car to look like holes that were patched up.

Nice to hear from you , many thanks for your kind words and advise was looking at adding signs like CAMP CAR and patches on the sides been on the look out for some very thin rusty metal to glue on the sides . Have also been checking out dolls house pots and pans to add inside .

Up date on the MOW Power Car have fixed the lamp on the drum onto a clear plastic base which is fixed to the roof so when i remove the roof the lamp comes out with it as all the electrics are fitted to the roof .
Have repainted some of the generator and fixed it in place have also sanded down the roof and bodie work ready for weathering . Sound unit is all wired up and working just need to make some fittings for the interior next like a work bench with tools .

wow....so u added a sound? wow..i cudnt coz im deafness..lol lol
p.s.so i ave sound fitted inside the spectrum tender but didnt know it got sound inside with speaker,wirin,battery and aslo etc...I DIdnt know AS i did lay my dummy and tender on the layout last winter!!!! coz i did tidy up my back garden coz it too much stuffs on it so need cut down to make more neat and tidy..lol then i took my tender for re varish then saw the speaker!!!! SO Wot sound does it say?? chuuuuggg or ????

Thats the battery box that holds 4 x AA batteries for the three 6v grain & wheat bulbs two in the roof and one in the lamp on the drum .
Done some painting on the hand rails tonight using a steel colour paint and silver to give the effect of worn off paint work hope to weather the car at the week end
