Bit more work done today. both oilers now made and fitted, and the pipework from the oilers is now in place.

Ah yes, the next phase in the construction is to add copious amounts of Whatley Lead Mines product in every orifice (oooer), to make sure that it does negotiate Pootank without difficulty.

Yep. There's a couple of spots on the body that need touching in too but I just had to put it together to see how it looked.

One thing I forgot about was those comparison shots of the original and reworked boilers

You should be able to see the differences in these shots. Reworked/heightened boiler on the right.
