hello,
dropped a box of wagons yesterday when going out in the morning to put them the car, got to where i was going and one of the axle pivots which holds the wheels has sheared off :'(
does anybody know the part number for this and where i could get one been trawling for a good few hours so far and can't find one..
any helps much appreciated,
phil.

You mean the container cars?

I think they are the same as the long box cars such as 40810 to 40880. Look on the model-land site they have the expanded diagram for them look under 'parts freight cars', then 'RhB Gbk-v 5507 LGB 40810-40890, then look at the PDF for 40890. That will give you the part number, although they don't appear to have any.

Since these are still made ask Marklin for a part, alternatively try Peter Skinner.

If you know all the details of the parts required, contact The Hobby Co at Milton Keynes, I found them very obliging when I needed some parts for my Track Cleaner, they didn't have them in stock but at least they will supply, and will tell you when approx availailable. They are the main Marklin /LGB importers.
