Latest Upgrade..

Changed to UI.X, and it seemed OK for a while..
Then got the error going back to New Posts (intermittent, sometimes 2 errors).. Slowly seemed to compound the errors..
Back to Xenith, and first page-change gave the error..

I am still not convinced it is not something to do with the adverts, top of page?? - I wonder if those with a 'rolling' element are not always coded well, and occasionally cause a problem??

This would not be a 'fault' with the Forum software necessarily.. It could be a IE problem with certain elements in certain adverts.

Unfortunately, I guess you have no control of what is served by Google into these 'slots'?

I know It does not help you Philip, but I have been using IE 11 exclusively on this forum, and I read EVERY new post and sign in several times a day.

Not one glitch. Not one. It really has to be a difference between your computer and at least mine.

I'll keep trying to think of stuff to check.

Greg

Thanks Greg..
Paul is humouring me.. And I am waiting to see if I have a problem this session..

Just wanna get this sorted, as it totally has me stumped, willing to try anything (well almost !)

Well .. .. ..
So far, so good.. .. Keeping a tally of 'thread changes' (seven, plus the conversation ones) and no error..

Well, one error.. The first post I tried to make was to the thread about the Accucraft clearance sale.. Got an error along the lines of thread not found, when I tried to post.

That was the first post I tried to make in this session.. All OK since..

Over 20 thread-swaps, and no error..

That has really speeded up my catching up on New Posts as well.

Paul,
Can you 'just' turn on the sidebar ads, perhaps?? And I can try that?

Another several thread swaps..

Paul,
Am off for some shut-eye.. I see a rolling add at the top, and the sidebar..
No errors so far.
G'night all.

No, I think that is a sneaky advert?? - Will have to logout to see now!

Yes it is an advert.

Thanks for your help Chaps, I thought it looked a bit suspicious.

Out of curiosity, I clicked on it and up came a 'form' to sign in - it even had my email address in one of the boxes! Subliminal advertising?
