I don't think Rails did make a mistake as it started at 99p, just the bidders assuming from the initial pic of the box that it meant 4 boxes! Someone is going to be very upset when that lands

Bidding started at 99p so I don't think you can blame 'Rails' for this stupidity.

Having read the description even I can clearly read its only 4 pieces of used track being offered with an old box to hold them. Wow someone shouldn't have set their maximum bid so high, I suspect another bidder just kept going to see how high he dare take it.

Would be worth a punt but you know the current high bidder has bid up £60 so not worth it

At a maximum bid of £125 the old high bidder was looking at four boxes worth me thinks.....

Maybe he read it as 4 x 10000 x 300mm track pieces so thought he has getting 40 000 pieces of track?

If so, he must have a whacking great garden. I make 40 000 feet to be around 7.5miles.
