Sumpter Valley Mallet pulling 17 double bogies, not a record I know, but still a pleasing site
That's still a lot of them! Have you felt how much resistance they put up by trying to pull them along with your hand?

I have to say that I struggled to pull them along by hand! The resistance is phenomenal......

An amazing layout considering the space you had available! Very nice design. I too wish I had some easy access storage.

I particularly like the use of the wooden sleepers as edging. Fits perfectly with the line.

Decided to reconfigure the station area and have a shorter platform on both sides as opposed to one long platform on the one side. Any thoughts?

I like the double station configuration. I would also put a gantry walkway over the tracks between the stations I think (since your asking)......

That looks great - wonderful how adding some figures just brings it all to life....

But does it meet current accessibility regulations? >:)
Probably not..
Also, my eldest Daughter would hate crossing it, as she does not like 'open' heights..

I would like one, but fear it might be a little fragile for my garden environment?

Quick!
Whack that mole before it undermines the track! :giggle:

Have you left the conifers in their pots? - Will make it so much easier to control them if you do..
