I was never a fan of the old Meccano, clumsy and awkward to build. This was quite easy, the nuts are well made and even in awkward locations they 'take' the thread without much fiddling.Dtsteam said:Allen cap screws - Meccano's gone up in the world. its a shame it doesn't work.

Yes that is one of the slight changes I made. That and altering the alignment of the 'cylinders' which I had done wrong. It's quirky but must be a giggle when assembling. Any chance of adding weight to lower the centre of gravity?![]()
