Its probably 10 or so years since I was on here. Some names immediately stand out, Gizzy, Mike, Rhino., Life & health issues get in the way. I have/had a 1/12th narrow gauge layout in the garden running a K1 garrett called "Jenny Frugal" Due to mobilty issues of both myself & my wife, much of the ground level track has been liftedDSCI1552.JPG

Hi Paul, yes just remembered way back I posted as "Granitechops" did a thread on "Dawlish devastation" (2014) covering the repair of the track washout, when I was fit enough to get my wheelchair into difficult places to get pics & vids. So now (knocking 80) another change is that I have to keep to well paved surfaces to get to any vantage point. And they have not quite finished all the upgrade protective works to the sea wall which is still partly shut to the public

Well, at least you should be able to post pictures of your own 'Dawlish Wall', as you have raised your track?

I remember the Forum nickname.. I will have to have a dig.

Welcome back Don. Long time no see. The last time we met was at the Exeter show when you helped us with transport for the layout. (Trailer behind electric wheelchair). Mrs sends her regards.
