Hi,
I have been looking at the folowing kit from IP Engineering:-
http://www.ipengineering.co.uk/page24.html

Has any member any experience of one of these kits. I have seen a you tube clip of a Ragleth pulling three of these coaches and it looked OK.

I am still confused about insulated wheels. These coaches have all steel wheels - would they be Ok to run on an electric track?
Kind regards,

Dave

NO WAY!

IP Engineerings 45mm steel wheels are insulated so they are absolutely fine to use with track power. I have several sets:clap:

Not built one personally, but from what I've heard and read all the IP kits go together fine now since they moved to laser cutting and I've not heard of anyone having any trouble.

This is quite a good place to have a quick look, I think someone made a topic about making one. http://gardenrails.myfreeforum.org/forum39.php
