I think that the cab switches actually only have three positions, not four - standard LGB manual indicate 0 = all power off, 1 = Lights and smoke on, motor off, 2 = everything on. Position (1) is for parking a loco on an unisolated track section (when using DC).
When using DCC, the switch is out of circuit and doesn't do anything.

Some have three positions but others have four. The fourth position (numbered 3) is for sound on/off. This might be present but ineffective if the mould is used for both silent and factory sound fitted examples.I think that the cab switches actually only have three positions, not four - standard LGB manual indicate 0 = all power off, 1 = Lights and smoke on, motor off, 2 = everything on. Is there an English version ?
Before I rewired #10 the loco had a four position switch in the cab.
0- all off
1- lights & smoke
2- lights, smoke, motor
3- lights, smoke, motor, & sound (which i would have had to install myself)
