Window wanted

A couple of weeks ago, I bought a second hand LGB DB Bogie Brake Coach (3071) from GRS. I'm currently fettling it up but alas the rear window shown here is missing. I have made a substitute to stop the family pointing (and stating the obvious) at it but thought that before I try to import one, or make a better substitute I should ask if anyone has one spare?

Cheers

Tony

Do you have the diamensions Tony?

I might have something to fit....

I will check tomorrow when at home, but I think the one I have is rectangular....

I have a pair of the full length coach version ones in my scrap box, after some minor damage, you would be welcome to.
Would have to do some cutting to get a single one, as they are a single full length unit.

In the junk box is a 2 window piece from the 3 window section. I cut of the other window when I made a full baggage van. I cannot find the window bits that slide up & down in it. If it's any good PM me.

"Some time soon, I hope to be putting in an order to Model-Land and could add this to the list."

That's very kind of you, MIke (Dutchelm) has come up trumps, so I think I'm now sorted.

I have to say I was a bit hesitant about making this post, and have been overwhelmed by the response from you all.

Thank you all

No worries, here to help.

My window is 37x36 mm, so would have been too small....

Reminds me of the story about the woman who confused Vaseline with putty........ all her windows fell out.....

David

Once again, thanks everyone.

I haven't been using either Vaseline or putty to hold my temporary window in.

Black insulating tape works quite well though (other colours are available).

Is there a euphemism I am missing here? - no please don't spell it out.

Best regards

Tony

And it was FAST. A little while ago I rediscovered it and loaded it onto an old PC. It was blisteringly fast compared the the current offerings.
I have to be careful in my criticism of M/ S nowadays though because my son was Art Director for Win10 and still works for them. :lipssealed:

No disrespect.. But an 'Art' Director for a computer operating system..
Form over function, comes to mind.

Though some of the backdrops are pretty stunning..
