The timed starting and stopping is great to keep the grandkids from full throttle starts and stops. I also limit the maximum speed with it for them. They are told if they turn the small adjusting knobs they are done running the train. It works well, and they mind.

Timely stuff this as my Gaugemaster appears to have developed a serious fault, this afternoon. Now do I send it back and get it repaired or invest in a new Helmsman. Or both . Decisions Decisions.

Just to round off my gaugemaster controller was returned today after a ten day absence (weekends included) repaired free of charge , not even a charge for the postage .
