WELLINGTON GROUP AT BRIAN C's AGAIN

;) Another typical autumn day in the capital of Middle Earth. What better way to celebrate Mothers Day, than to play trains, and let the mums cater for the boys.

JR is still there, scoffing the yummies, and boiling a bit of water in one of his engines, so I'll kick off proceedings.

Here's the latest edition at Brian's, a backdrop. Made of the same stuff they use to plaster ads on the back of buses. My Feldbahn stock is getting towed around with Brian's 44 tonner.

John S is our cane train fan, and here is his latest, a neat little Drewry

The Censor will be on my back if I comment on this next one, other than it is a, shall we say, artistic, view of mine host.

Seems to be a new trend these here parts, to include the host in action..... ::) ::) ::)

Good idea with the backdrop :D

;) Done from a single photo, which took up half the length of the mural. The image was flipped to create a mirror image for the rest of the background. Never picked that out, until I was told about it.

Clever :D

Right, picking up the battern form Gav here are my photos from the day.
Lets have a overall look at the great photo mural come backdrop, which as you can see from the overall view it hides the garage wall.

Tucked away behind the trestle is the loco and carriage sheds.

The boilerhouse

Oww look, here is Brian holding the boilerhouse ;) He was discussing the best way to install an effective smoke unit.

Another of Brian's new scratch built buildings is the way and works workshop which is a bit obscured behind the breakdown train. (That's Murray C's Mallet and train visiting in the foreground)

Thanks Brian, we can get a better look now :o

Murray's train again
IMG_1428.JPG

My favourite train for the day wasn't a train really but a railcar. Ian W's railcar, the body started by Ken Evans with detailing, battery electrics and motor etc by Ian. ;D
IMG_1406.JPG

I do like the backdrop though, it looks even better in the flesh than in the photos.
