WGRG at Brian C's Railway

The Wellington Garden Railway Group's May running afternoon was hosted by Brian C's on his cameo filled railway. I railway in what must be one of the most awkward shape you could think of for a railway.

But as they say necessity is the mother of invention and Brian certainly is good at inventing things from almost anything...like his new quarry scene.

Much, if not all the rolling stock in the photo is scratch build or heavily customised.

It was a most enjoyable afternoon, lots of relaxed conversation about trains and garden railways in general. And I got to actually photograph my own train in steam! Otto in charge.

That is certainly making the absolute most of the available space. You have remembered that the social aspect of a running day must be occupying the major portion of the available space at every gathering!
