A nice fine Sunday saw Brian C host the February meet.

The Climax had to make an appearance, of course.

In particular, I recall the hotel in the third picture as shortly afterwards - as we were enroute to Napier - this hotel caught my eye. Could it have been the prototype I wonder?.......

:wave: I think you may be thinking of the Royal Hotel at Featherston, on the way over to Ian's layout.

Always used to make a compulsory stop there on our bus trips to the Wairarapa. Liked the place so much, we actually made it our destination for the Christmas do one year.

Brian's Porter in action

Ian & Brian and spent some of the day before installing Sunset Valley Railroad air operated point actuators on three of the turnouts. They work real well.
