WANTED - MTS fitted KOF Loco with Remote Uncouplers

Lots of good ideas and info here folks? Many thanks!

I'd like to eventually fit a sound decoder to the loco, and Dutchelm's conversion of the red 21900 analogue model intrigues me.

I read that for this loco you set your control knob to 1.0-1.5 which drives the coupler and then puts on the red cab light on completion. You can then turn the knob further to drive the loco away.

Not sure how this would be done with a Universal Remote if the loco was fitted with a (sound) decoder but I guess it would be setting to 1-2 steps. Can you clarify please Mike?

The analogue system doesn't work very well. I stripped everything out & fitted a ESU sound decoder. I put a pair of small interposing relays in the cab to work the couplings, smaller ones are available but these were free. These were driven from the decoder. A 12 v stabilised supply was needed to work the couplings.

It would only let me put on one photo so here is the other.
