Just found this Vid on an N Gauge Forum, the concept would work very well in our scale as well. Nots that I have used Kitchen Roll and Bog Paper for such projects but these would be too crinkly or small so some Tissue Paper from a Stationer would be required.

All I can say is that I wish my roll of cling film would tear as easy and straight as that :emo::emo::emo:

I just used a plain white handkerchief and dipped it thinned down geen paint!

Black tarps were common here in NZ. To model them, I used old black pages from photo albums (..... ask your grandma.).
I'd trim it to the correct size, then fold it to shape, really emphasising the creases, Then I unfolded it, and screwed it up into a ball,
When unravelled, I refolded along the still visible creases. Discrete application of PVA to hold the corners together. Simple.

Rather Irish, don't you think.

Nah - just getting the extra miles when the hanky can't be bleached white ('cos it's the first thing to hand when I want to wipe a loco clean:p):rofl:

Which one of the 'forty shades', of Geen, did you use, Mick?
:giggle::giggle:

Scratch-built! :nod::rofl::rofl:
