Mad Ale I should have thought, as advertised on the bridge nearby....

(Does it have a good lunch menu Mel? Only it would save you a walk to your other 'local'!)

stockers Aug 10 2009, 06:33 PM

Very nice Mel. If it goes missing, I just might be taking a mould

Cracking set of pics Mel - only just caught up with them after a few days off.
A really good story regarding the show and very characterful.

Nobody seems to have spotted that the old lady at the agricultural show appears to have spent too much time in the beer tent judging by the extreme right of the picture in post 844.

The Railway Arms is a Wem Ales pub Bram. A bit ironic that it's ended up right next to the bridge advertising Madders Brewery as Giz pointed out. And yes they do food Giz ......... the menu's on the left side of the front door. Portions may be a bit small for me though mate .

Thanks again for all the kind words guys, makes all the effort worthwhile .
